[indications]For diagnosis, only for intravenous administration.Contrast enhancement of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the brain and spinal cordContrast-enhanced magnetic resonance angiography (CE-MRA).

[Usage and Dosage] Gadobutrol injection should be administered by a physician with MRI clinical experience.
usage
The required dose is administered by intravenous bolus, and an MRI contrast-enhanced scan can be started immediately after administration (interval depends on the pulse sequence used and the protocol).
Contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance angiography (CE-MRA) showed the best imaging at the first expiration of the arteries after injection of gadobutrol injection. The brain and spinal MRI cases were approximately 15 minutes after the injection of gadobutrol injection. The best imaging results were observed (interval time depends on the type of lesion/tissue). Tissue enhancement usually lasts 45 minutes after the injection of gadobutrol injection.
The weighted scan sequence is particularly suitable for contrast enhancement checks.
When the contrast agent is administered intravascularly, the patient should be supine if possible. Patients should be observed for at least half an hour after the completion of the injection, as experience with contrast agents shows that most of the adverse reactions occur during this period of time.
dose
Adult: MRI and brain magnetic resonance imaging
The recommended dose for adult administration is 0.1 mmol/kg body weight, which corresponds to a 1.0 M solution of 0.1 ml/kg body weight.
If there is no abnormality in the MRI-enhanced scan and the clinical remains highly suspected of the presence of the lesion, or more precise information may affect the patient's treatment, re-injection of up to 0.2 mmol/kg body weight within 30 minutes after the first dose. Buprofol injection to improve the accuracy of the diagnosis.
Contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance angiography (CE-MRA)
Imaging of an observation field: weight less than 75 kg, using 7.5 ml; body weight greater than or equal to 75 kg, using 10 ml (equivalent to 0.1-0.15 mmol / kg body weight);
Imaging of more than one field of view: 15 ml for body weight less than 75 kg; 25 kg for body weight greater than or equal to 75 kg (corresponding to 0.2-0.3 mmol/kg body weight).
child
For children who have not received an ECG, the possibility of congenital long QT syndrome must be ruled out before administration of gadobutrol injection.
For the above indications, the recommended dose in children and adolescents 2 years and older is 0.1 mmol of gadobutrol injection per kg body weight (equivalent to 0.1 ml/kg body weight).
A dose of >0.1 ml/kg body weight should not be given to children and adolescents.
The use of gadobutrol injection for patients under 2 years of age is not recommended due to lack of data on efficacy and safety.
