[Indications] Naltrexone hydrochloride can block the pharmacological effects of exogenous opioids, as an adjunct to prevent relapse after detoxification of opioid dependent patients.

【Dosage】
1. Preparation period:
(1) No opioids have been abused within 7 to 10 days before starting the medication.
(2) Urine morphine test should be negative. If positive, naltrexone hydrochloride should be delayed until urinary morphine is negative.
(3) The naloxone hydrochloride challenge test before starting the drug: After confirming that the urine morphine test was negative, subcutaneous or intramuscular injection of 0.4-1.2 mg of naloxone hydrochloride, and observation of symptoms and signs for 1 hour. If there is no withdrawal symptoms, it is negative for the challenge test. If positive, naltrexone hydrochloride treatment should be delayed until the challenge test is negative.
2. Induction period: The beginning of treatment should be careful and slowly increase the dose of naltrexone hydrochloride. The induction period is generally 3 to 5 days. The purpose of this period is to gradually take the appropriate dose of naltrexone hydrochloride to the patient during the induction period.
