[Indications] EMEND Oral Suspension Indicates Combination with Other Antiemetic Agents, Prevention in Patients Over 6 Months Old: Acute and Delayed Associated with Primary and Repeated Courses (HEC) including High-Dose Cisplatin High-Sputum Chemotherapy Nausea and vomiting.
The first and repeated course (MEC)-related vomiting EMEND capsules for nausea and moderate vomiting cancer chemotherapy are indicated in combination with other antiemetics, in patients with prevention of 12 years of age or older: with high doses of cisplatin The initial and repeat course (HEC) is associated with acute and delayed nausea and vomiting. Primary and Repeated Courses (MEC)-related vomiting for nausea and moderate vomiting cancer chemotherapy to prevent postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) in adults.

[Usage and Dosage] Recommended dose of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) prevention in adult and children patients aged 12 years and older EMEND capsules: 125 mg 1 day and 80 mg days 2 and 3.
EMEND is used in pediatric patients for 6 months below 12 years of age or for children and adults who are unable to swallow capsule oral suspension: see the recommended dosage of the complete prescription information in Table 3.
Under the jurisdiction of EMEND chemotherapy 1 hour before, 2 days 1 and 3. If no chemotherapy is given on the 2nd and 3rd days, the management will be revised in the morning.
