opicapone - 奥皮卡朋
Opicapone is a catechol-O-methyltransferase (COMT) inhibitor that works by inhibiting the peripheral breakdown of levodopa, extending its duration of action and enhancing its effectiveness. It is primarily used as an adjunctive therapy to levodopa/carbidopa (or benserazide) in the treatment of Parkinson's disease patients experiencing "off" episode fluctuations.
