Istradefylline - 伊曲茶碱

Istradefylline is an adenosine A2A receptor antagonist that works by blocking A2A receptors in the striatum, thereby improving dopaminergic neurotransmission. It is primarily used as an adjunctive therapy to levodopa/carbidopa in the treatment of Parkinson's disease patients experiencing "off" episodes (periods of worsening motor symptoms as medication effects wear off).
