[indications]Aprepitant capsules are administered in combination with other antiemetics and are indicated for the prevention of acute and delayed nausea and vomiting during primary and repeated treatment of highly emetogenic anti-tumor chemotherapy.

[Usage and Dosage] Recommended dose of chemotherapy for nausea and vomiting (CINV) prevention
EMEND capsules for adults and children 12 years and older: 125 mg for 1 day and 80 mg for days 2 and 3.
EMEND is used in pediatric patients for 6 months below 12 years of age or for children and adults who are unable to swallow capsule oral suspension: see the recommended dosage of the complete prescription information in Table 3. Under the jurisdiction of EMEND chemotherapy 1 hour before, 2 days 1 and 3. If no chemotherapy is given on the 2nd and 3rd days, the management will be revised in the morning.
