[indications]Cushing disease(a condition caused by too much hormone called cortisol) andAcromegaly(Excessive growth, especially by the hands, feet and facial bones caused by excessive growth hormone).
[Usage and Dosage] Signifor can be used as a solution for subcutaneous injection and for powders and liquids for injection into muscle. In patients with Cushing's disease, Signifor is injected subcutaneously (preferably on the top of the thigh and abdomen) twice a day or every 4 weeks into the muscles of the buttocks. A few months after 2 to 4, the patient's response to treatment should be assessed and the dose adjusted if appropriate, or discontinued if no benefit is seen. If side effects occur, it may be necessary to temporarily reduce the dose. For acromegaly, Signifor injected hip muscles every 4 weeks. The dose may need to be adjusted according to the reaction or if side effects occur. The patient can inject the skin under the skin after training. This medicine is only available by prescription.
